Thank you for purchasing your car seat at Three Littles! This appointment is only for car seats purchased from our store. Note: we do not do base only installations, the actual infant seat must be purchased at Three Littles and must be present for the car seat check.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Please attempt installation on your own before coming in to familiarize yourself with the seat-It's okay If It's not perfect, we are here to help! When you arrive for your appointment please pull up to the ramp next to our store on 6th st (It's right behind Union Market and right in front of our store) Before we begin we will discuss any information about the seat like harness adjustment, cushion weight limits or other adjustments that need to be made. We will check for a proper installation, and go over all the things we are looking for. If the seat is installed incorrectly, we will demonstrate how to install the seat and then will uninstall it so that you can install it on your own.
Please note: this is HANDS ON education and for liability reasons we cannot install the seat for you. The goal is for you to know how to do it on your own in case you need to remove or reinstall the seat at another time.

What if it's raining?
If there is inclement weather we will reschedule to the next available day and will always do our best to accommodate.
What if I can't make any of the appointments?
You have a few options! You can check the safekids.org website and search for a CPST in your area to schedule a check. Alternatively, If you are are DC resident the DC DMV offers free inspections during normal operating hours at 1001 Half Street SW, Washington, DC 20024. A Certified Passenger Child Safety Technician will assist with proper installation.
Do I need to clean out my car?
The back seat should be free of all materials including seat covers, pet canopies, etc., the floor of the back seat should be entirely accessible and free from all items, and for convertible or all-in-one car seats, the trunk should be empty enough for the top tether to be accessed easily.
Do both parents need to attend?
We understand every family looks different, but ideally a non-pregnant parent would be present to assist with reinstallation. Sometimes a tight, correct install can be difficult at 7+ months pregnant. If that isn't possible we always do our best to accommodate to find a solution that works best!
